  • Job Description
    JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    The Director, Plant Operations supports the strategic plan of the Hospital by providing leadership and direction for the hospital facilities management program, which includes facilities management/construction, real property acquisition and management, and buildings and grounds maintenance. Directs departmental operations and biomed.
    This position is also responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of the emergency management and disaster preparedness program, assuring compliance with all regulatory bodies and maintaining effective working relationships with local, state, and federal emergency agencies.
    This position is also responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring safety programs and initiatives at all
    Hospital facilities. Management of Environment of Care (EC) Safety and Life Safety Plans in order to minimize hazards and reduce risk of injury to patients, visitors, and employees is a major responsibility of this position. Chairs and organizes the Environment of Care Committee.
    The Director, Plant Operations is responsible for taking all standby/on-call facilitiesā calls after hours.

    MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
    Licensure and Certification:

    Education Required:
    Bachelorā s degree in Engineering or any combination of education and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
    Experience Required:
    Five to seven years related experience, preferably in a health care environment.

    PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
    ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
    • Knowledge of local, state and federal regulatory codes regarding fire and life safety codes, hazardous materials, building and engineering codes.
    • General knowledge of hospital support systems
    • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry; grounds maintenance
    • Knowledge of Biomedical equipment
    • Demonstrated experience in budget development and fiscal management.
    • Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
    • Expertise in using all Microsoft Office products including Excel
    • Strong demonstrated leadership skills
    • Ability to serve as a positive role model, creating a strong team orientation.
    • A team player, adaptive and collaborative while working across the organization.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
