General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS), a premier provider to the US Department of Defense and allied nations, is seeking a Supply Chain Sr Specialist ( Material Program Manager) to join our Healdsburg or Folsom California team.
The Senior Material Program Manager (MPM) position provides Supply Chain Management (SCM) representation and leadership in support of project activities. This is a full-time on-site position.

Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Sr Specialist - Material Program Manager (MPM) position will ensure contract obligations are met, including flow-downs and acts as the SBLO for multiple programs. Position is responsible for managing cost, schedule and quality for complex procurements; maintaining overall risk analysis of program supply chain, and preparing mitigation paths for high risk suppliers. The MPM role is responsible for developing and maintaining project procurement plans which integrate into overall program plans. Position is responsible for collection and analysis of material costs related to business development bids, and price and cost analysis of supplier quotes.
Essential duties and responsibilities are performed under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager and oversight of Program Manager(s); they include the following:
Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance for the SC portion of assigned programs
Supports proposal leads in the preparation of material cost, SBLO activities, and initial risk assessment.
Lead program review sessions with suppliers and customers discussing supply chain cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Confers with the program manager to create a program procurement plan and associated budgets
Coordination of SC activities in alignment to the procurement program plan
Support of contract negotiations and ensure provisions are communicated and adhered to by suppliers
Analyzes supplier score cards and other available data to determine overall SC risk to the program
Prepares, as necessary, program SC reports for management, clients, or others, including:
Earned Value (EV), Estimates at Completion (EAC), Delivery Schedules, Risk Analysis, etc
Secures support from other functional areas as required
Other duties as assigned

QualificationsAssociates Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related degree preferred
5 to 7 years related experience in program management and/or supply chain; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Familiar with general Supply Chain and Materiel Management practices, procedures/policies, and operating guidelines
Demonstrates strong supplier management skills in support of program and customer needs, objectives, and expectations
